Turtle Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 package (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Mix until the dough forms a crumbly texture.
  3. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  4. Remove the pan from the oven and pour the sweetened condensed milk over the crust. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped pecans evenly over the top.
