The combination of crunchy Chex cereals, pretzels, and mixed nuts, all coated in a flavorful dill pickle seasoning, creates a snack that’s perfect for any occasion—whether it’s a game day gathering, movie night, or casual snacking.

  1. Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 1 cup pretzel twists
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (such as cashews, almonds, or peanuts)
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle seasoning (or dill weed)
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (optional, for extra flavor)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, pretzels, and mixed nuts.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, dill pickle seasoning, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, dill pickle juice, and salt.
  4. Pour the seasoning mixture over the Chex mixture, tossing well to evenly coat all the pieces.
  5. Spread the mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even coating and to prevent burning.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and let the Chex Mix cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.
  8. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
