Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, green onions, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and pineapple chunks.
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs, making sure they are evenly coated.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Serve warm, either on their own or with toothpicks as an appetizer.
