No Peek Beef Tips is a delicious and satisfying dish that is perfect for a cozy family dinner. As the beef tips slowly bake in a savory mixture of creamy soup and spices, they become incredibly tender, soaking up all the rich flavors. When served, the beef rests atop a bed of fluffy rice, creating a comforting meal that warms both the body and soul.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds beef tips (chuck or sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups uncooked rice
  • 4 cups water

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. In a large Dutch oven or oven-safe pot, layer the uncooked rice evenly on the bottom. Pour the soup mixture over the rice.
  4. Next, layer the beef tips evenly on top of the soup mixture, making sure not to stir it. Cover the pot tightly with a lid or aluminum foil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 3 hours, or until the beef is tender and the rice has absorbed the flavors. Do not open the lid during cooking.
  6. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving. Fluff the rice gently with a fork and serve hot.
