No Peek Beef Tips is a delicious and satisfying dish that is perfect for a cozy family dinner. As the beef tips slowly bake in a savory mixture of creamy soup and spices, they become incredibly tender, soaking up all the rich flavors. When served, the beef rests atop a bed of fluffy rice, creating a comforting meal that warms both the body and soul.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds beef tips (chuck or sirloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 4 cups water
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- In a large Dutch oven or oven-safe pot, layer the uncooked rice evenly on the bottom. Pour the soup mixture over the rice.
- Next, layer the beef tips evenly on top of the soup mixture, making sure not to stir it. Cover the pot tightly with a lid or aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 3 hours, or until the beef is tender and the rice has absorbed the flavors. Do not open the lid during cooking.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving. Fluff the rice gently with a fork and serve hot.
