Sausage Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole

  1. Ingredients:
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat if necessary and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, cooked sausage, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown mixture in the baking dish, stirring gently to combine.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set and lightly browned on top.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with green onions and serve warm.
