- Ingredients:
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1 bag (30 oz) frozen hash browns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat if necessary and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, cooked sausage, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown mixture in the baking dish, stirring gently to combine.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set and lightly browned on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with green onions and serve warm.
