- Ingredients:
- 1 lb breakfast sausage (mild or spicy, based on preference)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet with the sausage, stirring until the cream cheese melts and combines with the sausage.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, green onions (if using), garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Continue stirring until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
