- Pizza Grilled Cheese Sandwich
- Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 12 slices pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: sliced black olives, chopped bell peppers, or any other favorite pizza toppings
Directions:
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce evenly across 2 slices.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the pizza sauce, then layer with pepperoni slices.
- Add any optional pizza toppings, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and garlic powder.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing out.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
