- Ingredients:
- 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (for garnish)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the beef mixture. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Remove from heat.
- Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press into the bottom of the baking dish, sealing seams to form a crust.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the crescent roll base.
- Layer with 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
- Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place it on top of the beef and cheese, pinching the seams to close.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and spread sour cream on top. Add black olives, tomatoes, and cilantro as garnish.
- Slice into squares and serve hot.
