Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 oz tortilla chips
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup jalapeños, sliced
- 1/4 cup red onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup pickles, diced
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Peppermint hot chocolate sauce:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain the excess fat and stir in the BBQ sauce and mustard. Set aside.
- Prepare the peppermint hot chocolate sauce by heating the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the chocolate chips and stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the peppermint extract.
- Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the chips.
- Top the nachos with the cooked ground beef mixture, crumbled bacon, jalapeños, red onions, and pickles.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Drizzle the peppermint hot chocolate sauce over the nachos and finish with dollops of sour cream.
