- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter (for chocolate layer)
- ½ cup crushed peanuts (for garnish, optional)
Directions:
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, 1 cup peanut butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of an 8×8-inch pan lined with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
- Garnish with crushed peanuts, if desired.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until firm.
- Slice into bars and serve chilled.
