Parmesan Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush both sides of each pork chop with olive oil, then dredge them in the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.
  4. Place the coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and the crust is golden and crispy. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  5. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
