Parmesan Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush both sides of the pork chops with olive oil.
  4. Dip each pork chop into the beaten egg, then coat evenly with the Parmesan mixture.
  5. Place the coated pork chops on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the coating is golden and crispy.
  7. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
