Oreo Mud Pie

Ingredients:

  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • Extra Oreo cookies for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until well mixed.
  3. Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form a crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow to cool.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes until thickened.
  5. Pour the pudding over the cooled Oreo crust, spreading evenly.
  6. Top with whipped topping, smoothing it out to cover the pudding layer. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set. Before serving, garnish with extra Oreo cookies if desired.
