Nacho Cheese Beef Wrap

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Sour cream and salsa for serving

Directions:

  1. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to blend the flavors.
  4. Warm the nacho cheese sauce over low heat or in the microwave until smooth and pourable.
  5. Lay the tortillas flat and evenly spread a spoonful of nacho cheese sauce in the center of each.
  6. Add a portion of the beef mixture on top, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, jalapeños (if using), and a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly into a wrap.
  8. Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side.
