- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
 - 1 cup granulated sugar
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
 - 1/2 cup sour cream or buttermilk (optional for extra moisture)
 - 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)
 
Directions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
 - Cream the Butter and Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes with an electric mixer.
 - Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
 - Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. If desired, fold in the sour cream or buttermilk for added moisture and tenderness.
 - Add Mix-ins (Optional): Gently fold in the chopped walnuts or chocolate chips, if using.
 - Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top with a spatula and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
