Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers on Soft Buns

Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders are the perfect mini meal for any occasion. Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, cut in half
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for toasting buns)
  • Pickles (optional for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to combine, then form into 12 small patties, about the size of your slider buns.
  3. Place the patties on the grill or griddle, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, place a half slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  5. While the patties are cooking, melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Lightly toast the slider buns in the butter until golden brown.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise to create a quick burger sauce.
  7. To assemble, spread a small amount of the sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a cooked bacon slice on top of the sauce, followed by the cheesy burger patty. Top with a slice of onion, and optionally pickles.
  8. Place the top bun on each slider and serve immediately.
