- Ingredients:
- 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add onion and garlic and sauté until soft (about 3 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream, and 1/2 cup mozzarella. Mix until smooth.
- Spread 1/2 cup of the meat sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Add a layer of frozen ravioli, followed by half the cream cheese mixture and half the remaining meat sauce.
- Repeat the layers: ravioli, cream mixture, and meat sauce.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
