- Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 2 cups pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 8 oz penne pasta, cooked and drained
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and Italian sausage, cooking until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in pizza sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the meat sauce mixture. Stir in half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with pepperoni slices, chopped bacon, black olives, green bell peppers, and mushrooms.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
