- Ingredients:
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary or thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.
- Once the skillet is hot, add the steak cubes in batches, searing them on all sides for 3-4 minutes, or until they’re browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak bites and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and chopped rosemary (or thyme) and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and garlic powder, and cook for 3-4 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the creamy Parmesan sauce until well coated. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, letting the flavors meld together.
- Remove from heat and stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter for a rich finish. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
