This Jalapeño Bacon Cheeseburger Pretzel combines the smoky, juicy goodness of a grilled cheeseburger with the irresistible crunch of a pretzel bun. The combination of crispy bacon, spicy jalapeños, and melted cheddar cheese adds bold flavor and a satisfying texture in every bite.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pretzel buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- Fresh lettuce (optional)
- Pickles (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat. Form the mixture into 4 even patties.
- Grill the beef patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your desired doneness. During the last minute of grilling, top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and let it melt.
- While the patties are cooking, cut the pretzel buns in half. Lightly butter the cut sides and toast them on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish to make a tangy sauce.
- To assemble the pretzels, spread a generous amount of the sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place the cheeseburger patty on top.
- Top each patty with crumbled bacon and sliced jalapeños. Add fresh lettuce and pickles, if desired.
- Place the top bun on each burger and serve immediately, warm and delicious!
