  1. Ingredients:
    • 1 box (18.25 oz) yellow cake mix
    • 1 (3.4 oz) box vanilla pudding mix (instant)
    • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
    • 1 cup 7Up soda
    • 4 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract (optional)
    • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
    Directions:
    1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan or tube pan.
    2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix and instant vanilla pudding mix.
    3. Add the vegetable oil, 7Up soda, eggs, vanilla extract, and lemon extract (if using) to the dry ingredients. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for about 1 minute, then increase the speed to medium and continue to beat for 3-4 minutes, or until the batter is smooth and well-combined.
    4. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
    5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
    6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
    7. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar for a simple finish, if desired.
