- Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup dried chamomile flowers
- 1/4 cup dried elderberries
- 2 tablespoons dried ginger root
- 2 tablespoons dried peppermint leaves
- 1 tablespoon dried lemon balm
- 1 tablespoon honey powder (or regular honey if making individually)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup loose-leaf green tea (optional)
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (for binding)
- Silicone mold or ice cube tray
Directions:
- In a bowl, combine the dried chamomile, elderberries, ginger, peppermint, lemon balm, turmeric, cinnamon, and green tea (if using). Mix well.
- Melt the coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl or over low heat on the stove.
- Add the melted coconut oil to the dry ingredients, stirring until fully combined and the mixture is moist but not too wet.
- Spoon the mixture into silicone molds or an ice cube tray, pressing it down to compact it.
- Place the molds in the freezer for at least 1 hour, or until the tea bombs are completely solidified.
- Once frozen, pop the tea bombs out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in the freezer for long-term storage or in the fridge for immediate use.
- To use, drop one tea bomb into a mug of hot water, stir, and let steep for 3-5 minutes. Add honey or a lemon slice for extra flavor and benefits.
