Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add Vegetables: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Sauté until the onions are soft and translucent.
- Layer Potatoes: Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Arrange a layer of the thinly sliced potatoes at the bottom of the dish.
- Add Beef and Soup: Spoon half of the cooked ground beef mixture over the potatoes. Spread half of the cream of mushroom soup over the beef mixture.
- Repeat Layers: Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, ground beef, and cream of mushroom soup.
- Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the potatoes are tender. Remove the foil during the last 10-15 minutes of baking to allow the top to brown slightly.
- Cool and Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
