Grilled Steak with Garlic Herb Butter

Amish Wedding Steak is a show-stopping dish that brings together the bold flavors of grilled ribeye steaks and a luscious garlic herb butter. The steak is perfectly seasoned, grilled to juicy perfection, and topped with a creamy, aromatic butter that melts over the hot meat, creating a savory experience that’s both rich and satisfying.

  1. Ingredients:
    • 4 boneless ribeye steaks
    • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
    • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
    • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup beef broth

Directions:

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the herbs and garlic are evenly distributed in the butter.
  3. Rub each steak with olive oil and season both sides with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and brown sugar.
  4. Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer your steaks cooked more.
  5. While the steaks are grilling, heat Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, and beef broth in a small saucepan over medium heat. Let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes until it reduces slightly.
  6. Once the steaks are done, remove them from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the steaks with a generous dollop of garlic herb butter on top, then drizzle with the reduced sauce.
