Green Beans and Potatoes

Country Ranch Green Beans and Potatoes with Bacon is a hearty, comforting dish that brings together tender green beans, golden potatoes, and crispy bacon in a creamy ranch seasoning. The ranch adds a creamy tang while the bacon provides a satisfying crunch, making this dish the perfect side to any meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
 - 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
 - 6 slices bacon
 - 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
 - Salt and pepper, to taste
 - 1/2 cup water
 - Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
 
Directions:
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside on paper towels to drain. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
 - In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the cubed potatoes for 5-7 minutes until they begin to soften and turn golden brown.
 - Add the trimmed green beans to the skillet with the potatoes and stir. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
 - Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the potatoes and green beans, then add the water. Stir to combine and cover the skillet. Let simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the green beans are cooked through.
 - Once done, sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the dish and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
 - Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve hot.
