Garlic Chicken Lasagna Twirls

  1. Ingredients:
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
  4. Assemble the twirls: Spread about 1/4 cup of the chicken filling onto each lasagna noodle. Roll up the noodles tightly and place them seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Add sauce and cheese: Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the lasagna twirls and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake: Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve: Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
