  1. Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves

For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Steak Bites:
    • Season the steak pieces with salt and black pepper.
    • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the steak bites in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
    • Lower the heat to medium and melt the butter in the same skillet.
    • Add minced garlic and thyme, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
    • Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter. Cook for 1-2 more minutes. Set aside.
  2. Make the Parmesan Cream Sauce:
    • In a saucepan, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat.
    • Stir in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
    • Add the Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Combine and Serve:
    • Pour the warm Parmesan cream sauce over the garlic butter steak bites.
    • Serve immediately with crusty bread, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
