- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Prepare the Steak Bites:
- Season the steak pieces with salt and black pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Lower the heat to medium and melt the butter in the same skillet.
- Add minced garlic and thyme, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter. Cook for 1-2 more minutes. Set aside.
- Make the Parmesan Cream Sauce:
- In a saucepan, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat.
- Stir in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine and Serve:
- Pour the warm Parmesan cream sauce over the garlic butter steak bites.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
