Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 garlic bread slices (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in ketchup, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place the garlic bread slices on a baking sheet and brush them with melted butter. Bake for 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.
- Spoon the sloppy joe mixture evenly onto the garlic bread slices.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
