- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Oil for frying
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix together mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create the cheese filling.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture and shape it into small balls.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed Doritos.
- Roll each cheese ball in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with crushed Doritos, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Carefully drop the cheese-stuffed Doritos into the hot oil, frying in small batches for 1-2 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot for a cheesy, crispy snack!
