These Cream Cheese Spinach Puffs are a perfect appetizer or snack that combines the creamy richness of cream cheese with the earthy flavor of spinach, all encased in a buttery, flaky puff pastry. The golden finish from the egg wash gives each puff a beautiful, glossy sheen that is sure to impress at any gathering.
Ingredients:
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
 - 1 cup cooked spinach, chopped (fresh or frozen)
 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 - 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
 - 1 egg (for egg wash)
 - 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the pan)

Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
 - In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cooked spinach, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
 - Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 9 squares.
 - Place a spoonful of the spinach and cream cheese mixture in the center of each puff pastry square.
 - Fold the corners of each square into the center, pinching the edges to seal the filling inside, creating a pocket or pouch shape.
 - Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the tops of each puff with the egg wash to create a golden, glossy finish when baked.
 - Arrange the puffs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and crisp.
 - Let the puffs cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack!
