Decadent Creamy Crack Chicken Penne Delight

  1. Ingredients:
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and add the cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and chicken broth to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Stir in the cooked pasta, crumbled bacon, sour cream, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined and heated through.
  5. Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
