Crockpot Angel Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth as a substitute)
  • 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 1 package angel hair pasta, cooked according to package directions
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the Italian dressing mix, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and white wine until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot. Add mushrooms if using.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  5. Before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions.
  6. Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
