- Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the crushed Ritz crackers, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat it in the cracker mixture, pressing gently to ensure an even coating.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of each piece for extra crispiness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
