Ingredients:
- 16 oz button mushrooms, finely chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Bread or crackers for serving
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped mushrooms and sauté until they release moisture and brown, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add garlic, thyme, and onion powder, and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan, mozzarella, sour cream, and mushroom mixture. Stir until everything is well incorporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with bread or crackers.
