Creamy Baked Spaghetti with a Velvety Cream Cheese Sauce

Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti is the ultimate comfort food, combining tender pasta with a rich and creamy sauce that’s bursting with flavor. The creamy cream cheese sauce blends perfectly with the tang of tomatoes, while the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese create a luscious, golden top. - Ingredients:
 
- 8 ounces spaghetti
 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
 - 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
 - 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
 - 1/4 cup heavy cream
 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
 - 1 teaspoon dried basil
 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
 - Salt and pepper, to taste
 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
 - Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
 - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes, until the onion is translucent.
 - Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, heavy cream, and softened cream cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce becomes smooth.
 - Season the sauce with basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
 - In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with the creamy tomato sauce, tossing until well coated.
 - Transfer the spaghetti mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the top.
 - Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
 - Let the baked spaghetti cool for a few minutes before serving.
