Copycat Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
