Ingredients:

  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • Holiday sprinkles or crushed peppermint (optional, for decoration)

Directions:

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter over low heat. Stir constantly until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt. If using, fold in the chopped nuts.
  4. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Top with holiday sprinkles or crushed peppermint if desired.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
  6. Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper overhang and cut into small squares.
