Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk (as needed for consistency)

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together using an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined. Increase the speed to medium and beat until fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt to the mixture. Beat until well incorporated.
  4. If the frosting is too thick, add milk one tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
  5. Use the frosting immediately to frost your favorite cakes, cupcakes, or cookies, or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
