Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage, casing removed
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
- 2 cups pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, meat mixture, pizza sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil.
