Ingredients:
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Oil for frying (if deep-frying)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat oil to 350°F (175°C) for frying.
- Flatten each biscuit dough piece into a 3-inch circle.
- Place 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling in the center of each dough circle.
- Pinch the edges to seal, forming a ball. Ensure no filling escapes.
- For baked bombs: Arrange the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- For fried bombs: Fry each bomb for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll the warm bombs in melted butter, then coat them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
