Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Sausage

Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Sausage is the perfect hearty, one-pan dinner for busy weeknights. The tender, roasted potatoes combined with smoky sausage, creamy ranch dressing, and melted cheddar cheese create a comforting dish that’s both filling and full of flavor. The ranch seasoning brings just the right balance of tanginess to complement the richness of the cheese.

  1. Ingredients:
    • 1 1/2 lbs baby potatoes, quartered
    • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
    • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
    • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
    Directions:
    1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a large baking dish or sheet pan.
    2. In a large bowl, toss the quartered potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
    3. Spread the potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking dish and roast for 25-30 minutes, until golden and tender.
    4. In the same bowl, mix the ranch seasoning, sour cream, and milk until well combined.
    5. Once the potatoes are roasted, add the sausage slices to the pan and roast for another 10 minutes.
    6. Remove the pan from the oven, drizzle the ranch mixture over the potatoes and sausage, and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
    7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
    8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
