Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Sausage is the perfect hearty, one-pan dinner for busy weeknights. The tender, roasted potatoes combined with smoky sausage, creamy ranch dressing, and melted cheddar cheese create a comforting dish that’s both filling and full of flavor. The ranch seasoning brings just the right balance of tanginess to complement the richness of the cheese.
- Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs baby potatoes, quartered
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a large baking dish or sheet pan.
- In a large bowl, toss the quartered potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking dish and roast for 25-30 minutes, until golden and tender.
- In the same bowl, mix the ranch seasoning, sour cream, and milk until well combined.
- Once the potatoes are roasted, add the sausage slices to the pan and roast for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the oven, drizzle the ranch mixture over the potatoes and sausage, and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
