Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the green beans are tender and slightly blistered.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the green beans.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once out of the oven, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
