Cheesesteak-Stuffed Tortellini Skillet

Cheesesteak Tortellini combines the rich flavors of a classic cheesesteak sandwich with the comforting, cheesy goodness of tortellini. The tender steak and sautéed peppers and onions are enveloped in a savory sauce, then topped with melted provolone and mozzarella cheeses, making each bite irresistible.

  1. Ingredients:
    • 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini, cooked
    • 1 lb ribeye steak or flank steak, thinly sliced
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 medium onion, sliced
    • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
    • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 cup beef broth
    • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
    • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.
  3. Add the garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth to the skillet. Stir to combine, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked tortellini and steak back into the skillet, tossing to combine with the vegetables and sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded provolone and mozzarella cheese over the top of the tortellini mixture. Cover the skillet and let it cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
