Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta brings together the richness of creamy Alfredo with the bold flavors of Cajun spice. This dish combines succulent shrimp, tender steak slices, and fettuccine pasta in a luxurious, spicy cream sauce, creating a perfect surf-and-turf experience that’s packed with flavor in every bite.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, divided
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for added spice)
Directions:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, season shrimp and steak with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat evenly.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add steak slices and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside with the steak.
- Lower the heat to medium, add minced garlic to the skillet, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add remaining 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat it in the sauce. Return the shrimp and steak to the skillet, mixing everything together until well combined.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
