Cajun Honey Butter Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and sear for about 3-4 minutes until crispy.
  4. While the salmon cooks, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in honey and lemon juice until combined.
  5. Once the salmon is seared, flip the fillets and pour the honey butter mixture over them.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
