Ingredients:
- 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough (or homemade biscuit dough)
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large eggs
- Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the biscuit dough on a lightly floured surface to form a pizza crust, then place on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Bake for 10 minutes or until the crust is lightly golden.
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage, stirring for about 1 minute.
- Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens. Season with black pepper and salt.
- Spread the sausage gravy evenly over the biscuit crust. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Crack the eggs evenly across the pizza, spacing them out. Carefully place back in the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes or until the egg whites are set but yolks are still runny.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chives. Slice and serve warm.
