Caesar Chicken brings all the bold flavors of the classic Caesar salad into a hearty, savory chicken dish. The creamy Caesar dressing and melted Parmesan cheese create a rich, comforting coating on the chicken, while the fresh parsley and optional croutons add a touch of freshness and crunch.
- Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup croutons, crushed (optional for topping)
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Once the skillet is hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and pour in the Caesar dressing, stirring to deglaze the pan and pick up any flavorful bits stuck to the bottom.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon some of the dressing over the top of each breast, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and golden.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley and optional crushed croutons for added crunch.
- Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
