Ingredients:
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 2 cups apple pie filling, chopped into small pieces
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Caramel sauce (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Flatten each biscuit dough round with your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place about 1-2 tablespoons of the chopped apple pie filling in the center of each dough round.
- Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal, and form into a ball shape.
- Arrange the sealed bombs on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy.
- While the bombs are baking, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Once the bombs are out of the oven, brush them with the melted butter and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm with optional caramel sauce drizzle.
