        • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
        • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Directions:
      1. Prepare the Broccoli: Wash and dry the broccoli, then chop it into bite-sized florets.
      2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli, red onion, cheddar cheese, bacon, sunflower seeds, and raisins (if using).
      3. Make the Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, white vinegar, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
      4. Combine and Chill: Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and stir to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
