Crispy Fried Mushrooms with Cool Ranch Dip

These Crispy Fried Mushrooms are golden, crunchy bites of joy, perfect for snacking or as a fun appetizer. The earthy flavor of the mushrooms pairs perfectly with the satisfying crunch of the breadcrumb coating, making them irresistible.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh mushrooms, cleaned and trimmed
 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 - 2 eggs, beaten
 - 1 cup breadcrumbs
 - Vegetable oil, for frying
 
Cool Ranch Dip Ingredients:
- 1 cup sour cream
 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
 - 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
Directions:
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a shallow dish, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
 - In another bowl, beat the eggs. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
 - Dip each mushroom into the flour mixture, then the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Set aside.
 - Fry the breaded mushrooms in hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
 - For the Cool Ranch Dip, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, chives, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
 - Serve the crispy fried mushrooms hot with the Cool Ranch Dip on the side.
